Blogmas Day 4: Tag Book Blogger Confessions

Until today I didn’t know I could write post so fast but here I am! I was tagged about 2 hours ago and I’ve already written it! So who’s awesome?!

Thank you Stacked Reviews for tagging me! Make sure to check out here blog! It’s amazing!

The Rules:

1. Answer the questions truthfully.
2. Tag five book bloggers to answer these questions next.

1. Which book did you most recently DNF?

Actually I have problem with DNF books. I hate unfinished things so if I drop some book it will be really bad. Lately I was realy close to do it but I somehow finished that book even if I suffered so bad. In all my reader career I think I DNF only one book: Grey (Fifty Shades as Told by Christian #1) by E.L. James. It was just not for me.

2. What book is your guilty pleasure?

I can’t decide on one book so I will write about book theme that makes me add books instantly to my TBR even if I don’t expected it to be so good. Some of my friends know about my obsession (and probably judge me for it really hard). So… My guilty pleasure are retellings of fairy tales, especially Cinderella. I have read so many books and so even more movies (over 30 movies about Cinderella – last time I counted them which was over year ago so I have might seen more than that) and it’s still not enough. These books are so predictable and have the same scheme of plot but I still love reading them. Please, don’t judge me too hard.

3. Which book would you throw into the sea?

Fifty Shades series by E. L. James, especially the one written from Christian perspective. But the ones form Anastasia perspective also were bad. And it isn’t even about fact that it’s erotica because I’ve read more spicy things than this. Characters were plain stupid and irritating. And what’s more it’s about abuse relationship and I hate when something like it is promote in books, movies, media etc.

4. Which book have you read the most?

It’s a little hard question because I don’t remember how many times I read some books (I was a reader long before I had account on Goodreads and I didn’t take any notes) but I think it probably will be one of the book I read in elementary school. Probably Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. I love this book so much! When I was a kid I compered myself to Anne and to be honest I still do a little but unfortunately I’m not as brave as she was.

5. Which book would you hate to receive as a present?

It would be boring if I write about Fifty Shades in another question, right? Well, I will just say that I would dislike (I don’t want to use word hate because I won’t hate book before reading it) most of the erotica. Just not my kind of thing.

6. Which book could you not live without?

Most of the books on my bookshelf? *hugging my babies* I think I have to go with Harry Potter series because all things connected with it: movies, events, meeting with other fans at conventions and fan fictions were a huge part of many years of my life so I can’t imagine how my world would look like without them. I guess it would be full of Muggles.

7. Which book made you the angriest?

Immortal series by Gillian Shields. These books are reason why I decided to have a shelf on Goodreads called: “Hall of Hell”. Reading these books was torture. I was literally screaming at Kindle because characters were so irritating and plot was ridiculous and full of holes. Still I read them till the end. You can call me masochist.

8. Which book made you cry the most?

I think it might be Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson. I remember that I read it when I was about 15 years old and I was sitting in my room and crying all evening. Maybe I should reread it someday and check if it still have this effect on me. And to be honest I think now it’s easier to make me cry so I might need a lot of tissues.

9. Which book cover do you hate the most?

I usually don’t hate book covers. Some are awesome some might not be the best but because I’m not the most artistic person I’m not the best person to judge. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?
Well, but there might be some exceptions. And here is one of them.

I don’t even what to ask person who made this why did they do this. My world is better place without knowing it.

  1. Thanks for the tag San, I shall have to have a think about these questions. I love Harry Potter too and have reread the series several times, I love finding new things with each read. Plus we have at least one day every year when we watch back to back HP films. We recently added Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them to our list. I was a bit wary of this with the US setting, as HP is ALL British to me, but it worked out ok.
    Happy Blogmas!

  2. OMG, that Zombie Racoons and Killer Bunnies cover is absolutely hilarious, you just made my day 😀
I love how we have some similar answers, I also love different versions of fairy tales 🙂

  3. That book cover! Haha, I really can’t stop laughing; it’s the worst case of editing ever. I’m so glad about your stern opinions on Fifty Shades of Grey because I absolutely didn’t like it and every time I stumble upon someone who does, I’m just so shocked. So it’s nice to see we’re on the same page 😀 I love fairy retellings too! ❤
